After a lot of pain my dear Grandma passed away on 21st July. Exactly after 6 months of our wedding.
She did open her eyes and was in conscious for one and half days before she passed away. Its is been very hard to take this fact that she is no more, there is no one whom I can call Amma when i go to my Grandma's house. However am sure her blessings are always there with my hubby and me and the whole family.
She used always say "Days are flying and when if i die today, tomorrow will be the 2nd day and soon will be the 10th day." Yes its already 13 days that her soul has departed. She was a devotee of Lord Guruvaiurappa ( Lord Krishna ) and Lord Krishna took her away on Ekadasi ( a special day for Lord Krishna in our culture). Tears still roll down when i think of her. I am her dear grand daughter. Hubby was there with me all thru and gave me lot of support. Still it took some time to come back to normal life. Family also has slowly come back to normal life. Its difficult when I think of my youngest aunt. She is a spinster and would feel Amma 's loss a lot. If not for my hubby I also would have felt her loss more than I feel now. We are there to support my Aunt. We all are missing Amma a lot and will miss her.
